8 Things you may not know about China

  • If you are sick and in need of a new heart, liver, kidney or any other body part, China will be able to match you with a donor within a few days. Once you have paid a deposit, a prisoner can be executed, their organs will be harvested and your can begin a new life. p1, p2, p3, p4
  • It is estimated that there are more than 20 million people in prisons in China.
  • The Tiananmen massacre - June. 4, 1989, thousands of students shot to death by tanks and soldiers on Tiananmen square in capital city Beijing in 1989. University students were protesting against corruption and  appealing for democracy.
Videos: Tiananmen Square Massacre 18 Years Ago in China
  • Christmas tree decorations are produced in some of the 300 Forced Labour camps located all over China.  This is effectively saying a Christian Holy festival is celebrated with the help of Chinese people suffering, being tortured.
  • As many as 80 million Chinese died after the Communist party gained power since 1949. This number exceeds the total number of deaths in both World Wars combined.
  • Trade is more important to Western governments than Human rights atrocities. The British PM was is China in January 2008 to forge trade links. It was reported that both leaders discussed Human Rights, the specifics were not reported. Is your Government trading in suffering?

Pledges and Comments

  • 'I am very glad you made this site' - PH of United Kingdom
  • 'I am trying to find a way to understand how in this modern world we are not only turning a blind eye towards the blatant abuse of human rights in China we are condoning its behaviour by allowing the olympics to be held there. There can be no worse crime committed than the continuing human and cultural genocide of Tibet when a peaceful hand is still being offered for negotiation. But oh no the Chinese cannot be seen to loose face can it. Lets see just how much face it has lost when the Olympics have finished and more of the world can see what is really going on. ' - JN of United Kingdom
  • 'The only reason the Olympic games were granted to China was greed. Human rights, animal rights, and justice are far more important than any games, and to continue saying that the games are separate from the atrocities that China freely engages in permanently stains the Olympic tradition.' - CS of USA
  • 'China is making a mockery of the Olympic games and the Olympic ideal.
I, as a Greek person, coming from the country that gave birth to the Olympics say that China doesn't deserve to hold the Olympics on its soil!
China get out of Tibet now!!!' - ML of United Kingdom

  • 'free Tibet! This is tragic!' - SF of USA

  • 'Prior to hosting Olimpic Games, China should stop human rights abuses and persecutions, FREE TIBET, support DEMOCRACY development in Burma' - YT of USA

  • 'its all bad and has to stop, thanks for the site!' - NR of United Kingdom

  • 'The very worst mix of capitalism & communism :O Atrocious! "...Absolute power corrupts absolutely..."' - LH of Canada

Tibet

Tibet was an independent Buddhist nation in the Himalayas, they have their own language, literature, art, and world view developed. In 1959 the Chinese government invaded. Tibet has never regained its former glory, Tibetans are living in fear, in poverty and in hope of the return of their leader the Dalai Lama.

The Chinese are committing social genocide through the restrictions on worship, the destruction of temples and the general harsh treatment of Tibetans.

This horror story has been going on too too long

Live Organ Harvesting

China sell organs without the consent of the people they execute. These people are called live donors because they are alive when the order comes in.

China's transplant industry is a thriving business. Wealthy people from all over the world flock to China for their life saving operations. The many political prisoners provide a steady supply.

Human nature embroiled with greed gives rise to notion of whether
some of these organs are supplied to order.

Infanticide in China

China is the most populated country in the world, there are over 1.3 Billion people in China. China has been concerned about over population for sometime, as a counter measure China introduced a one couple - one child law. Consequently, girls were terminated at birth or during pregnancy because couples preferred boys for cultural reasons. There is not a gross disproportionate ratio of men to women in China today. Now the government have modify their policy to allow the first child to be a girl and the second to be a boy.

With these strict offspring quotas, in years to come the world may begin to wonder what happened to all the disabled young people in china.

Enforcing these gender specific birth quotas is attained through pregnancy screening and forced abortions. Terminations have been forced on people as late as nine months pregnant.

China has extended our perceptions of brutality and torture
with forced abortions and forced sterilisations.

Christian Persecution

It is illegal to practice Christianity in a place where the priest has not been fully indoctrination with the communist policies. Your country has to be your first love before your Christian faith, your family and yourself.

Severe penalties are imposed on people who read bibles that are not sanctioned by the government, or those who practiced their faith in unsanctioned building.

Does the Chinese government have policies which super seed those of a Christian God?

Muslim Persecution

The 9/11 tragedy has provided China with an excuse to terrorise Muslims. China's war on terror has focused on the subjugation and victimisation of the Uyghur people of China who practice a moderate form of Sufi Islam.

In this global climate of widespread blasé Islamic condemnation, the Chinese government has again, implemented policies which tantamount to social genocide. These policies include age restrictions on people going to the Mosque, a ban on traveling to religious festivals and the destruction of Mosques.

The plight of Muslims in China resonates with everyone
who values their faith and loves their God

Falun Gong

Falun Gong, is a high-level practice designed to harmonise oneself with these universal principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. Falun Gong practitioners strive to live honesty, to do kind charitable acts and to be more tolerant. The Chinese government is threatened by such behaviour.

There are more Falun Gong practitioners than members of the Chinese Communist Party, this is a serious threat. Falun Gong Practitioners are victims to the most horrendous forms of brutality, including gang rape, organ harvesting, forced abortions, forced sterilisation and mutilations.

Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance is a crime in China

Homelessness paving the way for the Olympics

Thousands of Chinese people have been left homeless because they have been forcibly evicted from their homes without adequate compensation. The building of the Olympic infrastructure has forced thousand from their homes.

If the evictees complain too much they are detained or beaten up, several people have subsequently died.

Will the magnificent new structures have enough of a seductive appeal to lure people into
ignoring the thousands of Chinese who have been displaced unfairly

China Darfur

China and Sudan have a very close relationship. Amidst all the global condemnation of the Sudanese state sanctioned genocide in Darfur, China flouts international sanctions to trade with the overt human rights abusers. China is supplying the necessary weapons used to commit genocide in Darfur in exchange for the much needed oil.

China is facilitating the murder of thousands of innocent Africans

China Myanmar(Burma)

Burma has one of the world's most appalling track record for human rights violations. The Burmese military has dominated government since a military coup in 1962 that toppled a civilian government.

Burma has been shunned by most of the international community China has provided a life line to support the brutal dictatorship.

Trade is more important than Human Rights

Animal Rights

People are horrified at the cat and dog fur industries where animals are skinned alive or they are put on the restaurant menus where dogs and cat are on the menu. However, China has made vast improvements over the last few years.

On a global level Animal Rights laws are selective on different types of animals, not all animals have the same rights. Animals are abused throughout the world in concentrated battery farming, scientific experiments, cosmetic testing and confining them in Zoo's for us to gawk at. It would be too expensive to feed a population without being slightly cruel to some animals. Cruelty to animals is widespread and it is unfair to point the finger just at the Chinese.

China has no Animal Rights laws?

Environmental Pollution

China's rapid industrialisation has substantially increased pollution. Many species are threatened with extinction, the Yangtze river dolphin is probably extinct according to an extensive survey in 2006.

It is estimated that over 750,000 people die in China due to high air pollution and poor water quality.

The price of cheap products has a hidden cost

In China Today

there are
too many human rights violations • too much suffering • too many injustices
too much tears • too many horrific stories • too much brutality
and far too many political prisoners.

In the midst of this government sanctioned mass misery,
we believe it is ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE for you to enjoy the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

So please Make a Pledge to switch off your television,
do not watch the Olympics and you will benefit by...

  • not compromising your integrity
  • making a stance against human rights violations
  • encouraging more political pressure on China
  • not allowing your conscience to attack you
  • helping 1 Billion Chinese people to have a brighter future
