TibetTibet was an independent Buddhist nation in the Himalayas, they have their own language, literature, art, and world view developed. In 1959 the Chinese government invaded. Tibet has never regained its former glory, Tibetans are living in fear, in poverty and in hope of the return of their leader the Dalai Lama. The Chinese are committing social genocide through the restrictions on worship, the destruction of temples and the general harsh treatment of Tibetans. This horror story has been going on too too long |
Live Organ HarvestingChina sell organs without the consent of the people they execute. These people are called live donors because they are alive when the order comes in. China's transplant industry is a thriving business. Wealthy people from all over the world flock to China for their life saving operations. The many political prisoners provide a steady supply. Human nature embroiled with greed gives rise to notion of whether |
Infanticide in ChinaChina is the most populated country in the world, there are over 1.3 Billion people in China. China has been concerned about over population for sometime, as a counter measure China introduced a one couple - one child law. Consequently, girls were terminated at birth or during pregnancy because couples preferred boys for cultural reasons. There is not a gross disproportionate ratio of men to women in China today. Now the government have modify their policy to allow the first child to be a girl and the second to be a boy. With these strict offspring quotas, in years to come the world may begin to wonder what happened to all the disabled young people in china. Enforcing these gender specific birth quotas is attained through pregnancy screening and forced abortions. Terminations have been forced on people as late as nine months pregnant. China has extended our perceptions of brutality and torture |
Christian PersecutionIt is illegal to practice Christianity in a place where the priest has not been fully indoctrination with the communist policies. Your country has to be your first love before your Christian faith, your family and yourself. Severe penalties are imposed on people who read bibles that are not sanctioned by the government, or those who practiced their faith in unsanctioned building. Does the Chinese government have policies which super seed those of a Christian God? |
Muslim PersecutionThe 9/11 tragedy has provided China with an excuse to terrorise Muslims. China's war on terror has focused on the subjugation and victimisation of the Uyghur people of China who practice a moderate form of Sufi Islam. In this global climate of widespread blasé Islamic condemnation, the Chinese government has again, implemented policies which tantamount to social genocide. These policies include age restrictions on people going to the Mosque, a ban on traveling to religious festivals and the destruction of Mosques. The plight of Muslims in China resonates with everyone |
Falun GongFalun Gong, is a high-level practice designed to harmonise oneself with these universal principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance. Falun Gong practitioners strive to live honesty, to do kind charitable acts and to be more tolerant. The Chinese government is threatened by such behaviour. There are more Falun Gong practitioners than members of the Chinese Communist Party, this is a serious threat. Falun Gong Practitioners are victims to the most horrendous forms of brutality, including gang rape, organ harvesting, forced abortions, forced sterilisation and mutilations. Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance is a crime in China |
Homelessness paving the way for the OlympicsThousands of Chinese people have been left homeless because they have been forcibly evicted from their homes without adequate compensation. The building of the Olympic infrastructure has forced thousand from their homes. If the evictees complain too much they are detained or beaten up, several people have subsequently died. Will the magnificent new structures have enough of a seductive appeal to lure people into |
China DarfurChina and Sudan have a very close relationship. Amidst all the global condemnation of the Sudanese state sanctioned genocide in Darfur, China flouts international sanctions to trade with the overt human rights abusers. China is supplying the necessary weapons used to commit genocide in Darfur in exchange for the much needed oil. China is facilitating the murder of thousands of innocent Africans |
Animal RightsPeople are horrified at the cat and dog fur industries where animals are skinned alive or they are put on the restaurant menus where dogs and cat are on the menu. However, China has made vast improvements over the last few years. On a global level Animal Rights laws are selective on different types of animals, not all animals have the same rights. Animals are abused throughout the world in concentrated battery farming, scientific experiments, cosmetic testing and confining them in Zoo's for us to gawk at. It would be too expensive to feed a population without being slightly cruel to some animals. Cruelty to animals is widespread and it is unfair to point the finger just at the Chinese. China has no Animal Rights laws? |
Environmental PollutionChina's rapid industrialisation has substantially increased pollution. Many species are threatened with extinction, the Yangtze river dolphin is probably extinct according to an extensive survey in 2006. It is estimated that over 750,000 people die in China due to high air pollution and poor water quality. The price of cheap products has a hidden cost |
